Ingredients

·       Base Ingredients:

o   1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

o   1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

o   1 cup water, milk (dairy or non-dairy), coconut water, or yogurt

·       Optional Add-Ins:

o   1/2 ripe banana

o   1/2 cup spinach

o   1 tablespoon chia seeds

o   1 scoop protein powder

o   1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (or to taste)


Instructions

1.     Prepare Ingredients: Wash all fresh fruits. Peel the pineapple, if using fresh, and chop it into chunks.

2.     Blend: Add all ingredients to a blender.

3.     Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until completely smooth. If needed, use a tamper or spatula to assist.

 

4.     Serve: Pour into a glass or smoothie cup and enjoy immediately. You can store the smoothie for later, but it is best enjoyed fresh!
