Ingredients

·       Base Ingredients:

o   10-12 stalks fresh celery, roughly chopped

o   1-2 inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced

o   Optional: 1/4 cup water (or to your liking for desired consistency)

·       Optional Additions:

o   Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime

o   Small piece of green apple

o   Small piece of cucumber

o   1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (or to taste)

·       Pinch of black pepper


Instructions

1.     Prepare the Produce: Wash all the produce. Cut the celery into 2-3 inch pieces. Peel and slice the ginger. If adding, juice the lemon or lime, and chop the apple or cucumber.

2.     Juice: Add the celery, ginger (apple and cucumber if using), into your cold-press juicer. Juice according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

3.     Combine: Once juiced, stir in lemon or lime juice, honey or maple syrup, and black pepper, if using.

 

4.     Serve or Store: Serve immediately for the best taste and nutritional benefits. Alternatively, store the juice in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for later.
